Despite what we know as Honduras these days having grown cacao for many hundreds of years, there just doesn't seem to be a large number of chocolate makers using cocoa from the country. Other than Askinosie and Duffy there doesn't seem to be any bean-to-bar or origin chocolate makers using cocoa grown in Honduras. The only other is Friis Holm
which allegedly has one created for him by Bonnat
. But other than that, Honduras certainly seems under-represented in the fine chocolate market.
