When we're not packing orders and writing articles helping people understand more about the awesomeness of fine chocolate we're scouring the world for new and interesting chocolate makers to bring into the UK. Just like scouting football players, its a hit-and-miss affair. But we have an undoubted talent here and we're massively happy we took a punt and ordered a sample at the end of 2013. All four chocolates offer something unique and each is a either wonderful representation of the origin the cocoa is from or an introduction to a new approach. The Venezuelan bar, for instance, tastes nothing like the northern Venezuelan chocolate I have tried before, whilst the Sambirano confirms beautifully to the style you would expect from the Red Island.
