Valrhona is a very well-established, having been established in 1922, and well-respected French chocolate maker based in the small town of Tain-l'Hermitage which is near Lyon. Much has been said about the fine quality of Valrhona's origin bars, where reportedly only 6% of the world's production is good enough to be used by Valrhona, but the proof in the pudding, as they say, is in the flavour.

Below you will find not only Valrhona's legendary Manjari, Alpaco, Tanairva and Jivara bars, but their newer El Pedregal 64 % cacao Porcelana, Ampamakia 64 % and the stunning Blonde (almost white) Dulce bar.

Many of the country's finest chocolatiers use Valrhona couverture, but here you can enjoy the Valrhona experience in bar form at your own leisure.
