This dark chocolate bar was crafted in Paris by Ara. It exclusively uses rare Nicaraguan beans.
The chocolate is bursting with sweet fruity notes. Red berries, grapes and plums all mix on the tongue along with a sugared note creating a pleasant jammy note. This easy to eat and brightly flavoured dark puts us in mind of a sweet dessert wine.
Andres and Sabrina, the French-based Venezuelan husband and wife team behind Ara have managed a huge feat. Despite being fairly new to the world of chocolate, they have created a seriously impressive portfolio of bars. The combination of cacao from the central and southern Americas and Madagascar and traditional French chocolate making techniques has resulted in a spectacular array of bars.
