The makers of Belvie have always described themselves and being ‘chocolate addicts’. In the beginning, they made their own chocolate just at home until they wanted to share their passion with the rest of the world, and that is when Belvie was born. Their chocolate is a combination of Belgian technology, in-depth chocolate knowledge, incredibly self-sourced beans form Vietnam and their love for chocolate.
Belivie’s chocolate is handcrafted in small batches to main quality – for them, it’s all about the details with no cutting corners. The beans are stone grinded and conched for several days. They only use the finest trinitario cacao beans, which are purchased directly from platers in different regions of Vietnam to enhance the local economy for their farmers. Other than making delicious chocolate of high quality, they also want to contrbute to the perservation of cacao trees in Vietnam. Belvie do this by encouraging and supporting farmers by offering them a fair price for the beans they are sourcing.
This chocolate bar is made from cacao beans originating from plantations wedged between the two main branches of the Tien Giang River in the Mekong River Delta. Its taste is luscious fruity and special fragrant from chocolate. A taste that will leave a nice impression in your memory.
