The Puerto Cabello has been a stable Bonnat chocolate since 1904 and actually is widely believed to be the first to call itself after the area that the cocoa originated from. Over that time Bonnat have perfected the physical appearance with a red-brown hue which isn't always typical of the origin.
The actual flavour is fairly mellow and understated but it does deliver some interesting tones. If you wanted to see the lighter side of Venezuela then this is a good chocolate to begin your journey.
