A beautifully sweet dark milk chocolate bar crafted in Cornwall using cocoa beans of the Chuno variety.
Chuno is a Trinitario hybrid and it is said to be an ancestor of Venezuela’s Criollo trees. However, it is typically found in the northern highlands of Nicaragua. It is here where Chocolarder sourced their beans for this single varietal bar.
This is a bar with numerous layers. A subtle citrus aroma gives way to notes of creamy caramel, malted treacle and meringue with a hint of coconut pervading. A lasting sweet finish makes this a truly chocolatey bar to savour!
This bar achieved Silver at the Academy of Chocolate Awards 2017.
