Given that this chocolate is a 50% milk there is a great deal more acidity than you might expect. It's still got going to jolt your taste-buds with intensity, but if you are looking to try milk chocolate from a world-famous origin then you can't go far wrong here. What is interesting is that natural sharpness of the Madagascan cacao from this region plays off with the sugar to create a sort of strawberry profile. Traditionally we would expect more intense red fruits such a blackberry, but this is a much softer experience.
It is a sweet affair, but if you're a milk chocolate-fiend with a sense of sophistication then I'm sure you'll love this one.
