For a dark chocolate this bar has so much in common with milk chocolate - the flavours are soft, delicate and floral and far removed from the acidity that you often get at this cocoa level. This is the theme of the maker, however: a mellow, respectful, careful profile. Each subsequent square builds on the flavour of the previous and after two or three in quick succession then you actually find heaps of strawberry and mango notes - perhaps with a touch of hazelnut.
This most certainly isn't one for lovers of power, brutishness and intensity.
