Here we have another limited edition origin chocolate from Coppeneur - and this time from the home of Marou and specifically beans from the region of Ben Tre. The aromas delivered by this chocolate seem to be a carbon copy of the Marou bar: spicy, woody, tobacco and sitting on the shore in a clear, summer's day - delightful.
You just have to place it in your mouth, even before biting in to get these wonderful flavours tantalising your taste buds. Biting in and letting the chocolate settle in your mouth lets off whisky-like flavours - perhaps the Glenlivet I have been enjoying of late. But then it adds more: gooseberry, ginger, lemon-grass, strawberry purée - this is such a mix of delightful flavours that you just don't know you'll experience next.
All the flavours are pretty light and none dominate, they all seem to co-exist in an orderly fashion.
