This is a supermarket chocolate, no mistake about it. You can pretty much find it for £2 at Sainsbury's, Tesco and Ocado. At Amazon you can pick it up for £6.45 including Prime delivery.
This may not be made from the finest cacao but if you want a cool, buttery 90% chocolate at an exceptionally reasonable price, then you'll be hard-pressed to do better than this. To my mind, it offers a better experience than the Lindt at the same cocoa percentage.
The ingredients say that the chocolate is made including butter oil so it wouldn't be suitable for vegans. What's more, if you're looking to limit the amount of 'fat' you consume then I'd avoid this one too at 56g / 100g. If you've read the book 'A Big Fat Surprise, then I don't think this would be too much of a concern.
The big plus point is exactly because of the high fat content, it's very smooth, creamy and avoids much of the intensity that other chocolate at that cocoa often exhibits.
If you're in the supermarket and you see one of their chocolates, then why not try a Godiva 90% bar and then compare it with one of the other 90%'s we list.
