This dark chocolate bar was crafted by La Naya in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The powerful dark chocolate has a dark roast with some spiced notes. We noted touches of cinnamon and star anise, as well as a more refreshing menthol hint. Tart red berries appear on the tongue for a moment. The chocolate gets an added sweetness from a honey drizzle that darkens into a molass richness.
La Naya has sourced its cocoa beans from the Ben Tre province of Vietnam. The province is located in the Mekong Delta, between the river’s two main branches. Smaller rivers snake across the entire province, irrigating the land and creating a naturally fertile environment that allows cacao to flourish.
