All of the Menakao chocolate bars are either very bright or incredibly intense. So for those of you who would love to try some tree to bar chocolate where the cocoa beans are grown on the same estate, or very close to the factory the bar is actually made in, then the Menakao 44% could be a good way to approach this type of chocolate. It is smooth, creamy, elegant and has a noticeable buttery flavour which could easily be compared to the taste of fudge. Although it is a 44% milk chocolate bar, it still has an inherent touch of fruity acidity that characterises artisan chocolate. It most certainly cannot be classified as anything like Cadbury Dairy Milk or the sort.
