It's far beyond us to talk about the potential health benefits so we'll leave that to the University of Maryland Medical Centre where they mention that its rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, caratenoids and antioxidants. So if you are interested in potentially healthier forms of chocolate than are generally available on the High Street then this could be one to investigate.
For a chocolate with blue-green algae in it actually tastes very nice. It has an overall creamy flavour profile with flashes of sharpness and, for me at least, incredibly moreish.
