Add to cart via Cocoa Runners The Carernero Superior is a very fine Venezuelan cocoa bean grown near to the town of Barlovento which is to the east of Caracas and is most commonly characterised by its spice and fruit notes, whilst others have suggested that cherry and tobacco aromas are present. Although this bean has become increasingly used by British chocolate makers and in some more exotic locations, it's doubt you would have seen a bar as beautifully packaged as this. In fact, Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé won a 'Silver' for it's packaging in the 2011 Academy of Chocolate Awards. Ingredients and product photo to follow.
