Made using Criollo beans from the Crafted from the San Rafeal region. With this bar, Lisi has created a very interesting bar with a multitude of layers. San Rafael is one of Peru’s more remote cocoa growing regions. The average farmer in San Rafael has just 1 ha (approx. 2.5 ac) of land. They cultivate fruit on their land and have access to irrigation plants in case there is not enough water in the river. The irrigation system was built by the government and are a great advantage for the farmers of San Rafael as there is relatively little rainfall in this area.
