Made in Lima, Peru with cocoa beans from the Tumbes coastal area of North West Peru and absolutely nothing else. This is chocolate at its purest and most intense. This bar reveals the full flavour of Peruvian cacao and the skillful way it has been crafted by Lizzi at Shattell.
The bar has a strong earthy almost savoury aroma that hits you as soon as you unwrap it. The slightly coarse and grainy texture quickly releases a world of flavour as it melts. The initial earthy bitterness gives way to punchy notes of tropical fruits: passion fruits, apricots and even a dash of yuzu all come through in sharp, bright bursts of flavour.
