We remember what we were doing the day the Berlin Wall came down or when the news broke that Princess Diana had died in a car accident. Some chocolate is just as memorable as that. We've had dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Although some have blurred the boundaries of dark and milk, none have yet created a truly outstanding chocolate that has similar characteristics to white chocolate, but with a significant proportion of cocoa solids.
This Dulcey Blond bar may have come about by accident some eight years ago and taken the intervening years to try and recreate the flavours and aromas on a large scale, but all that hard work has paid off with a fantastic creamy bar of chocolate.
When you try this bar you'll be amazed at the combination of fudge and malted milk flavours. They're prominent but not over-powering. At the very end of the melt you'll have a strong, sweet flavour that is reminiscent of cheese cake bases. In fact, we could even describe the Dulcey as the American cheesecake of the chocolate world.
