This bar marks the culmination of several years’ work at origin by Josef Zotter. He was determined to encourage cacao production on Columbia, and set about working with an enterprisng group of cacao farmers to help them to grow and ferment their cacao in a sustainable way. Throughout this project, his team was repeatedly chased from Colombia by drug cartels, and so it took over three years for him to be able to bring this bar to the world. We applaud his dedication and think it was well worth the wait for this dark chocolate bar.
This bar is a rich and chocolatey 75% cocoa with a beautifully smooth texture and a melt in your mouth creaminess. Slightly spicy it also has secondary fruit notes and an unusual smokey flavour
